Biography

Overview 

Semere Tiruneh, a founding partner at Semere Tiruneh and Associates Law Office, is a licensed Lawyer and Consultant practicing before all Federal and Regional State of Oromia Courts. He also holds the role of a Part-time Lecturer at Addis Ababa University School of Law. With an impressive experience in the legal practice spanning over 12 years of extensive experience in litigation and advisory services, with a primary focus on employment, succession, business, investment, property, criminal, and land laws, Semere is a reputed attorney and legal consultant.

Semere's academic accomplishments include a Master's Degree in Business Law and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice System, both from Addis Ababa University, completed in 2019 and 2024, respectively. He also holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Rift Valley University (2017) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Jimma University, Faculty of Law (2009).

Throughout his professional journey, Semere has held significant positions such as Legal Researcher at the Federal Justice and Legal Systems Research Institute and Contract Administration Expert at the Ethiopian Investment Commission. He has also contributed as a lecturer of Law at both Rift Valley University and Harambee University.
