1.3. Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Cashier Accountant and Admin Assistant at Makkobilli Law Firm LLP in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role involves managing bill collection, petty cash, and accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, delivering precise accounting services and reports, aiding in financial oversight, offering support to managers and partners, and providing secretarial and office support services.
2. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure firm's compliance with national Accounting Rules.
Manage bill collection and oversee timely payments.
Prepare payment documents, including attendance records.
Supervise and reconcile petty cash transactions monthly.
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports.
Review payments against budget and regulations.
Assist in analyzing monthly budget reports for adjustments.
Manage firm operations and procurement processes.
Properly store and monitor material purchases.
Verify source documents for proper approval.
Assist in staff recruitment, disciplinary issues, and fostering team relationships.
Develop systems for efficient equipment use and maintenance.
Handle office correspondence, maintain filing systems, and manage recordings.
Provide administrative support to legal team members.
Coordinate client interactions, appointments, and visitor screenings.
Maintain an up-to-date and secure case record system.
Answer calls, take messages, and redirect as necessary.
Manage and update contact inventories.
Ensure deadlines are met by organizing multiple agendas and alerts.
Preserve confidentiality and safeguard firm documents and cases.
3. Requirements for the Position

3.3. Educational Qualification and Experience
BA degree in Accounting/Management/Business Administration/Economics or related field of studies
Two years of relevant work experience.
